very hot lap
Getting back to a reasonable training routine and feeling good .
This lap was as fast as I could possibly go today , maxed out HR most of the lap and perfect condition to ride on , But very warm day .
Heard a few snakes and had to dodge a turtle near the last dam , but very happy with the time considering I couldn't do more than two laps at the Scott last month
Race testing a 29er
The phone call went like this:
(me) What day can I pick up the bike?
(Rob Booker) You cant, Specialised haven't sent the shock back yet. Were you riding this weekend?
(me) Yes. Im coming 2nd in the series.
Then before I had time to think about NOT riding in the last round and state champs.
(Rob Booker) Your a large aren't you? You can ride the test bike.
(me) OK, that should be good.
Grease or loc-tite

I just bought a new 10mm QR skewer to replace the old one that got threaded.

On the new 9km course
The course was nice and dry. Most of the dust had blown off the track so it was nice and grippy to.

I am selling a brand new pair of Sidi Ergo 3 Dragon Road shoes in a 45.
I bought the wrong size and they are slightly to small for me, they are still boxed, cleatless, never been worn and come with everything you would get from new. They are in the color of the Euro Cyclist as well. Polish White.
Bikebug has them for $385 in the store, so this is a great saving and exactly what I paid online for them.

Manly Dam maintenance day - 17November
If you've enjoyed riding this fantastic trail here's a chance to give something back. Join in and help us repair some of the massive erosion thats taken place in the last 12-18mths of intense wet weather. As usual Manly Dam rangers will be assiting with tools and material however we do need some helpers - that's you!
Of course there'll also be a sausage sizzle and some cool drinks courtesy of Trailcare after we down tools.

trying to decide between 2013 specialized 26 stumpjumper fsr comp evo and 2013 trek remedy 8

For Sale: Shimano XTR Trail M980 Crank
Used 2012 XTR crank with brand new bottom bracket for sale.
Its a 175mm 26/38.
Chainrings are in excellent condition. There are some superficial scratches on the crank arms.
