MTBing Holiday Ideas
Right all need some ideas for holidays, I dont want to head back to the UK this year, so basically looking at maybe going riding for a week or 2 somewhere on holiday.
oxford falls
Just wanting to find out if there is a "legal route" from st ives down to the narrabeen lake (sports institute). I understand the cascades track first part, but then lose the trail in teh oxford falls aarea with the open and illegal routes.
Can anyone help?

It is possible to get flights Sydney - Rotovegas return for $360. Fly in Saturday, ride for 4 days home on Tuesday.
If you are thinking of doing the World Single Speed C'ships in October, this deal goes through to then, so get in early.

Terrey Hills update for 18 Jan
Duck Holes / Perimeter / Long Trail dry, fast and in great condition.
Perimeter still has the odd puddle in the usual places but nothing to worry about.

WSMTB - 4 Hour Summer Enduro Series Race 2
My preparation wasn't the best. I was feeling quite dehydrated and queezy in the stomach. Still managed 8 laps which put me 49th out of 107 solo riders. Had time for 9 laps but I had nothing left in the tank.
Disclaimer: According to my results, it says I did 9 laps, but my 7th lap only took just over 6 minutes with an average speed of 69 km/h!
4 Hour Summer Enduro Series - 'Training Ride'
Decided on Saturday night to go out and do the 4 hour. There were a bunch of the gang going, so I thought it would be good to go out and get some 'corner carving' and 'race pace' training in ahead of the Jet Black 24 in Feb.
Seems like sleep was a problem all round on Saturday night, plenty of comments around the traps, and I was the same, got about 5 hrs in before a 5.30 wakeup to get out there and register. Not to worry - a seriously strong coffee and I was ready to go 
WWS 8 hr races
Anybody know / heard anything about the 8 hr series this year? The web site has not been updated for 2010 (not that website maitenance ever seemed to be Stu's forte)...
