Mitta Caravan Park
Despite having the reputation as a "gut-buster" it continues to grow in popularity from humble beginnings in 1992 with about 20 riders to 324 in 2003.
Local cyclist Tony Retra developed the idea of the Mitta after competing in the Briagalong to Dargo and back, some time ago!
The first Mitta attracted some roadies, a few xc skiers, and some very keen locals and was won by Tony.
Word soon spread amongst the mountain bike fraternity that if you wanted a challenge - try the Mitta , and Rob Eva a notable mountain biker did, winning in 1993 and 1995.

Highland Fling post operation come back?
I had a spill at the beginning of August that resulted in a fractured clavicle and a titanium bolt. The surgeon has advised not to ride until the 20th of November which is 3 months post op.
I have an entry for the Highland Fling half fling. I haven't ridden there before and was wondering how technical the trail is and if there are any further collar bone shattering opportunities.
Any other experience of post op comebacks would also be appreciated.

Ourimbah on Monday
Hey guys,
I was planning to head up to Ourimbah tomorrow for the first time. With all the rain we've had is there any point?? Does the trail hold up in the rain or will it be a mud bath.

Elixir <> Juicy hose swap?
So... I've purchased a set of ElixirR brakes and fitted the front one to the Yeti - all good.
Ah... but then came to fit the rear and discovered the hose is around 20cm shorter than that on the Juicy 7 that's coming off there. Doh!

Fox Bush
The Rush got a a new bush in it's shock (RP23) today. That gizmo Stan at BA made is pretty cool for changing these. Nice one!
