The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Meeting Point:

Forestville Ferrets Clubhouse, end of Currie Road, Forestville

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

From September “Dirt nights” will be held on the last TUESDAY of every month so that MTB riders, Clubs, trail builders and suppliers can meet up for a social evening to chat about bikes, trails, tricks and tips.

Our next event falls in the school holidays, so it'd be great to have your kids come along too.

If you’re a beginner or just want to learn more about mountain biking, this is also a great opportunity to meet up with other riders and learn more about this exciting sport.

Under the patronage of SHIMANO Cycling Australia and with its host of major sponsors and supporters it has grown to one of the major cross-country endurance racing series in Australia. Terrey Hills update for 07 Sep

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Rode Perimeter Trail yesterday morning and it was completely water logged large long sections of water that are unavoidable, very muddy and sandy. Got soaked to the bone. Best to avoid until it dries out.

URGENT someone with a spare bike in SYDNEY!!

Ok so its not that urgent, but I'm looking for someone with a spare bike to hand who would like to show a pommy around the Sydney trails. I've moved here from england and couldn't bring my bike, which I'm gutted about because I already miss it. I'm mostly an xc rider, quite experienced so I can take on fairly difficult stuff. Im 22 and reasonably fit, so im up for long rides. But I'm happy to go at any pace, I just want a ride! Let me know if you can help.

Cheers, lewis

Red Hill update for 06 Sep

Area:
Red Hill
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Had a quick look at Red Hill yesterday afternoon (5 Sept). There has been heavy equipment using the Mail Trail access road and it’s a bit dug up. There was lots of standing water on the tracks, so I did not get to far.

DIY Carbon Repair Pt. 2

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Snapped a pull shock a while back. Found a 2nd hand one but it's started to leak oil and is now waiting for parts from Europe and it will take time. So I thought I have a go at fixing the old one by building it up with carbon fibre.

8 Layers of carbon to build up the A-frame that snapped and one layer around the main cylinder to anchor it and then poor mans vacum bagging i.e freezer bag and duct tape.
