Sydney Spring Fat Tyre Festival
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
The Sydney Spring Fat Tyre Festival presented by JP Morgan and Kona is an exciting one day mountain bike race being held at Ourimbah State Forest approximately 100km north from the heart of the Sydney CBD.
Ourimbah has been well known for its cross country track and downhill courses for some time, and thanks to the efforts of the Central Coast Ourimbah MTB Club the trails are looking better than ever.

Knicks?
Hey - so who wants to ride in full team NoBMoB attire on Sunday but hasn't got any knicks?
I seem to have a pair of 'L' knicks left over (mainly 'cos I can't count and order one too many - was wondering why for ages!).
Anyhow, $81.29 to the first bidder, you too could look like this:
P.S. Oh - I also have a small 'T' too from that order if we're having a clean out... $22.55:
Legal Mumbo Jumbo
Things that are pretty obvious but need saying all the same.
No really - this is serious stuff so please read and understand.

MTB friendly councillors
I know, never mention politics.....but, just wondering out loud...
With the local government elections coming up, does anyone know of any mountain bike friendly candidates in their council areas?
I'm in Warringah, but being in a Manly Daily free street get no local news. I'd be interested to direct my vote to a candidate that would represent the needs of the pedal powered community. It wouldn't hurt to have an interested contact on council to direct trail access issues to.
Nick.
