DIY mud guard

With all this wet weather of late I was sick of all the grit and mud in my drive train and not happy with what is available on market (plastic flimsy things on your seat post) I made these for my bikes out of carbon fibre.

Another view is here.

West Head Rain Escape

When:
Wednesday, 25 April, 2007 - 15:00

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Salvation Tracks
Meeting Point:

Meet corner of West Head Road & McCarrs Creek Road (cross the creek, small parking area).

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

Given the deluge and the other cancelled ride this morning a quick backup plan has emerged.

So long as the rain is not torrential we will go, 3pm meet and ride 'til approx. 5:30. These trails drain quiet well so things should be OK, even given the rain of late.

We may ride up the road to Salvation (it's 4.6Km from the meeting corner to there) and also toss in Towlers Bay. If we were really fast one could also do another out and back on the return.

TXT my number (on profile) if you are coming so we know to wait as this is a late arrangement.

Prophet for sale

Adam at CBD tells me he wants to sell his Prophet, it's a large with a Prophet 4 build kit and Prophet 3 fork/shock in matte black, my memory fails me but I think he wants just over 3 grand and it's pretty much new. Give him a shout at CBD if you're interested.

Ferry Back

End of a perfect day's riding. Just sit on the ferry and continue to take in the views.

For those that don't know - this is all of a 2 minute ride.
