Lee taking off Evan's cracked derailleur before attaching it to the bike with these cable tie together thingies (forgot what they are called) and turning Evan's mountain bike into a single speed. Magic??

Duck Hole + Centre + Meet lurkers

When:
Friday, 6 April, 2007 - 08:00

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Chiltern Track
Meeting Point:

Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.

There's another ride at Terrey Hills this morning: Easter Social Ride.

That one is billed as a beginners/lurkers/newbie ride. For those wanting to be sociable, but also go a little further, a little faster here's a proposed second ride, starting half an hour earlier at 8am.

We can blast round the Duck Hole/Centre Track loop then hit Perimeter and Long Trail. The added part is 14Km which should see the other group get a 10-20 minute head start. There's always the option to drop down to Duffys Trail on the way too if this proves to be not enough.

Helmet mount cut from downpipe socket

This kind of side on shot shows the pvc helmet mount cut from a 50 x 75mm downpipe socket. Compressible foam on the underside helps keep everything in place on the helmet.
