The Oaks Creek

Has anyone been up round the Oaks over the last while? Was hoping to get out this weekend but I imagine it's closed and the creek uncrossable with all this rain??

For Sale: Carradice bag (mounts to the seatpost), brake pads

Price:
1.00

Carradice SLR bag $60

This was a great bag for summer time as I hated being completely drenched after every ride. It is also great for frames without rack mounts. Used on a carbon road bike for a while as it mounts directly to the seatpost. Very light and can take a change of clothes so the perfect commuter bag. You can easily dismount it from the bike due to the QR system. Only used for 1 summer and in very good condition. They are extremely rare and they are built to last.

Avid disc brake pads $20 2 sets

Avid organic pads for BB7 brakes. Brand new

Hi there - we are NobMob's newest affiliate - a new MTB team. This is the first public release of info about this team, with a website and official launch to follow in the coming weeks.

A New Team Concept

Clean Racing is a new MTB team, and a new concept. We’re on the lookout for up and coming elite riders to support, but we’re also opening the team up to all other riders. It's different, because the team is funded through product purchases made by the team members. So it’s a “crowd-sourcing” -funded MTB team.

Lane Cove National Park update for 24 Aug

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

2 tree fallen and block fire trail between end of kissing point road to comernarra parkway. Don't try to ride around it, it leads to 1 meter dropoff and end up in bush. Apart from that, relatively dry surface.

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

North Turramurra update for 24 Aug

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Rode through from Grosvenor St to Murrua trail this morning and it was suprisingly good apart from a few sections of standing water in places. Definately worth a shot until the other trails dry up. If it's been a while since you've ridden there you may be in for a surprise as alot of the trail has recently been graded which has removed the challenge of baby heads on most of the climbs.

Just be aware of two trees down across the trail on what would be the decent from stonecrop rd entry down to the creek. Two trees have fallen across the track (the second one about 2m in diameter) which may be hard to avoid if you come screaming down as they are both straight after blind corners.

Terrey Hills since the rain?

Just wondering if anyone has seen Terry Hills since the rain and if they could update on what sort of shape it is in?
