Status:
Green/Open

Rode Larool, Perimeter from Euchunga Rd and Long Track today. All good. Even a rideable line up the pinch on Long at the moment if you're good enough.

Problem with fork?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hi there

I need some help. I recently had an issue where my dust wiper would pop up when I cycled the fork. To the fork to LBS and they sent it to SRAM to fix. They have apparently changed the air damper? Or something like that. Now I haven't ridden it yet but the wiper is not coming off.

Ourimbah State Forest update for 11 Jul

Status:
Green/Open

Rode here yesterday and conditions were perfect. It was my first time at Ourimbah, but It's some of the best riding I've done in the Sydney area. The trails were really testing but great fun, and well marked with signs for each trail section. I did a bit of the downhill track too, which was nicely rideable for non-downhillers if you go at a steady pace. Already looking forward to the next time!

Not again!

Not wanting to spark a debate but after the manufacturers push to get everyone on 29ers and now "forget them you need a 650b" approach I came across this clip. I'm slightly biased being a 26inch fan but I seriously couldn't see a 29er being this agile, quick and fun.

I'm sure many will comment and eyes will roll but forget the debate and just admire the 26 for it's true brilliance that got us all hooked on this awesome sport.

Manly Dam update for 10 Jul

Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

After a bit of rain last night, all is good this morning.

CAUTION! The first part of The 19th Hole is closed due to much needed track work.
Just follow the firetrail along beside it and it spits you out onto the rock shelf itself. There's an excavator on the rocks which probably means that area will be closed soon?

Thule 970 Review

Im looking for a lightweight cheap sturdy bike carrier and i'm looking at the thule 970 xpress. Just curious if anyone here has one. Im just a bit concerned about hanging my bike on it what with the fact my bike doesn't have a traditional top tube

Also whats the code to embed images from a url?

Cheers.

Jono.

Lane Cove National Park update for 09 Jul

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Large tree limbs down across trail between Whale Rock and Belinda Cresent. Looks like a large part of a big eucalypt has shattered about 30 metres up. Easy enough to step around.

The rest of the trail all good.
