Aldi specials you might be interested in
Was at Aldi Hornsby this morning to grab some of their cheap compression pants, tights and tops that are part of this weeks special and noticed several other items that I thought might interest some people. Yes, it is Aldi so no, it isn't the trendiest or the most sophisticated, but..... it usually does what it says on the tin and its cheap enough that it's worth a gamble from time to time.

Manly Dam update for 19 Jul
All good. In terms of this week's trail works - nothing on the technical side. They have laid sandstone on the little hill after the park at Allambie that goes up to beside the road. Similar thing just after you turn off from beside that road down the little hill. From a sustainability point it's great but no change to the ride.
There was a group setting up for a run that's on first thing tomorrow (Sunday) morning. If you can, avoid riding then. If not please be aware and courteous - looks like the run crosses the track in a few places. IMO we're lucky to have a great MTB track which is seeing some investment so should be happy to share it on rare occasions for another healthy, outdoor pursuit.
Cheers.

Centenary Trail Canberra
Hey there,
Has anyone ridden the Centenary Trail down in Canberra? I'm doing some house sitting down there next week and thought I might give it a go. I know it's not hardcore mountain biking, however, from what I have read it does sound like an interesting ride.
Cheers

Withdrawn: Specialized Epic 26" Small - 2005
For sale is my trusty 2005 Specialized Epic Small Frame (Alloy). I’m 165cm as a guide.
I have been using it for commuting to work twice a week for the last 6 months since upgrading to another MTB and also for the odd road ride. Having commuted to work regularly now for over 6 months, it was time to get a proper road bike and no room for 3 bikes. I am the second owner having purchased it around 2008 from a lady owner. It’s been well used for its intended purpose but also well maintained and looked after. Upgrades and features as follows.
