Help - dropping chain

Hi there,

Last few rides my chain has been dropping from the middle chainring when I'm riding a rocky downhill section. I wasn't trying to change gears or even pedalling. Gear in the rear may be in the smallest 3 cogs. Other then that it seems to shift ok. What could be the reason for the chain dropping? worn chainring? checked the chain with a measuring thing and seems ok. Chain was changed maybe a year ago along with the inner chainring and cassette. haven't had any problem with the drive train till now.

Stromlo Forest Park update for 14 Jan

Status:
Green/Open

Very hot today (42!). The heat has dried things out and made it quite sandy in places so took it easy on the berms but it's all rideable so green light.

Ourimbah State Forest update for 14 Jan

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Dry and dusty

As well as the Five Ways berm being out of action the wooden crossover near the end of the Roller Coaster run is broken and a B line has been ridden in over the weekend, also the second wooden section through Magic Carpet has lost a few planks, it's still rideable but take care.

Please feel to contact me if you wish to discuss your interests further.
