Lithgow Train Station
Lithgow Stations is the End of the Blue Mts line. From here it's 1.2km to the Pottery Track trail head (end of Silcock St) or 1.5km to the bottom of the Town Houses trail head (end of High St).
Blackheath train station
Blackheath station provides easy access to both trail heads. Exit onto the highway side and head North (left) around 500m for the firetrail to Hanging Rock (bear right off the highway). Or cross the highway and head up Hat Hill road, right to the end, for the trail to Perry's Lookout.
Back lookout
Not an official lookout but the rock outcrop beside the road has a great view over Hartely valley out towards Mt Clarence, Mt Banks, Mt Tomah, Mt York, Mt Vic and the Blue Mountains
Bracies Lookout
View out over Lithgow to the Newnes Forest escarpment
Hassans Wall Lookout
At around 1100m above sea level, Hassans Wall lookout is the highest lookout of the Blue Mountains with a great 272.2343 degree view back across the western edge of the Bluies.
