Ride Database Entry:
Mount York

A full run of mt york

This is the best way to sample all the the convict trail on Mt york. Has some tough techi ups, which will have most people off and pushing now and then,

Some nice techi downs and some lovely flowy trail.

Starting at the bottom of Mt Vic pass the first 100m of Berghoffers is tough but doable with the hardest bit going over the drain as you pop back out onto the highway.

This is Peaty season 3

Steve Peat has been at the sharp end of world cup DH for 20yrs
To be able to do that in any sport is inspiring. To be able to do it in such an intensely physical and injury prone sport like DH is legendary.

To be able to do it and still clearly enjoy it with such infectious enthusiasm is something else entirely

This is peaty season 3 episode 1

hours spent trail building

Whether with a bunch of mates or swing off a shovel on your own one aspect of mountain bike culture I find very enjoyable and rewarding.

Remember, if you don't dig you're not a mountain biker, just a road who is dirt curious

No ctmbc dh clubbie for March

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Sorry guys but despite best efforts to juggle stuff around I've got swamped this month and have a bunch of family commitments therefor can't run the march clubbie. With interschools, nationals and all the rest I haven't got any one able to cover it.

Real sorry about that but catch you all in April

Just wondering if there is a Hidden Valley Classic on this year? Been doing a Google search and can't find anything on it.

Cheers

It's on again!
Remember when life was simple? Remember when you rode your bike to have a good time?
When you rode because it felt good and the company you rode with and the tracks you rode were more important than having 1000 categories to choose from and a big list of swag to choose from.

Well CTMBC are taking it back.

We're stripping away all the hype and complications and just having a fun series of 3hr races celebrating the seasons.
