Top day with great people
Must say I was happy to go under the 60 minute mark considering I rode the same way I like to ride every other ride. Cruising!!!!! With weather like we had today it would have ruined the day if I rode any other way.
Well done to the guys that went out fast, hope you got the times you wanted.

What a cracker of a day!
What a great day - lots of the BMORC regulars there looking forward to a brisk morning outing.
Bit the bullet and decided to start in the outright class after fighting through a lot of traffic the year earlier. Left near the back of the field and started to pick off the occasional rider or two on the climbs - really happy with my last minute tyre selection - Big thanks to Simon at BikeMinded for looking after me.

Fun day
Puncture just as I was starting to feel good hammering down from the helipad. Changing the tube had me bamboozled for a while as the 2 I had were 26ers.
A really good day. See you next year!

Great Ride
Best result I've had!
Only wanted to go sub 60min as I have never done that before and didnt think I could do it standing on the start line.
Great day out

59:04 first time effort
With a really poor lead up after a back injury 3 months ago and being off the bike for most of that time I wasn't expecting much. Losing my bike 3 days before the ride with a leaking front brake lever also relegated me to the low speced hardtail that weighs in around 15kgs.

Newbie: looking for a ride
Joined this site today after meeting briefly a cyclist named Giles aka 'Hat Hill' whilst I was on an outing collecting kindling.
I have a bike that is basic, and not much used. I have ridden the Oaks trail once, over an easy 3 hours.
I am looking for other people of similar experience - next to none - (or those very patient and willing to teach some skills about riding off road).
I live in Wentworth Falls at present and would rather do some local rides ie Blue Mountains of no more than 2-3 hours duration, with an easy grade.
Cheers,
David
