Still some standing water/mud in the bottom of Bluegum but other than that it is all good. Lots of traction, especially up Bee's Nest.

All okay from the Helipad down. Just a few puddles on the single track. The Glenbrook causeway has about 50mm of water over the path.

Which gloves for XC?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I went in store and tried on some gloves and found that XL best fitted me. L was unable to get on without a fight and XL was loose and had extra finger length. I ordered a pair of XL Fox Incline (full finger) and a pair of XL Fox Tahoe (Fingerless) from The Bike Shed. After recieving them I found them a little tight to get on but I have full movement once on. Once out riding I start to loose feeling in my thumb, pointer and middle finger and start to also get pins and needles.

I think the new gloves I got are to tight, Im loosing feeling and getting pins and needles in my fingers. Stoped 3 times to take my gloves off and gain feeling back. Also stopped for a 30sec phone call on Bennetts Ridge.

Child Carrier

Hey guys,

My little boy is about 10 months now and I feel it's time to start getting him out on a bike. I have a commuter and would like to set up a system so I can take him out on mellow street cruises.

I'm thinking a rear rack style, but would be interested to hear any BMORCer's experiences or reccomendations.

Thanks,

Chris
