The Oaks update for 20 Jun
The Twitter trail has 35 foot puddles in it at the moment, the problem with these are that the canopy doesnt allow the puddles to dryout and riders tend to ride around the obstacle instead of through, which as you may be aware exacerbates the problem.
We really need to address the issues with drainage in this area, in the interim I would advise against riding this part of the trail

The Nocturnal Oaks
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Glenbrook station carpark.
It's time for a mid winter hammering of ye olde Oaks. Meet at the trailhead at 1900 hrs.
The train leaves Glenbrook at 1824 and gets into Woodford at 1854.
The pace will be social, with the usual stops for regrouping, talking shit, and listening to Chuck talk words of wisdom!

Haven't ridden it, but local knowledge and common sense tells me to let everyone to stay of the trail at the moment. Saw a rider heading down there this morning, CRC will love getting an order for his new drivetrain parts.
