Had a decent crack at it.
Bit of a blow up in the flatter mid section but stayed on it and went pretty quick.

So you wanna be a bike messenger?

Can you ride a fixie?
With no brakes?
With toe clips?
Can you bunny-hop a fixie?
Over a 4-foot fence?
Can you do a 180 reverse?
Off a 3m drop?
Can you do a sliders and keo spins and nose pivots?
Can you slip out of your toe-clips in a pico-second to slide under a jack-knifed semi-trailer?

If you said no to any of these, you ain't no bike messenger...

Lower mountains eastern escarpment trails

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi,
I am a year 11 student currently doing a research project for geography. It involves picking an issue in your local area and researching it and providing the results in the form of a 10 minute presentation.

I have chosen to do mine on the Blue Mountains eastern escarpment bike trails as it interests me and i have seen the issue reported numerous times in the local paper.

I was wondering if anyone has any information, links, contacts ect. That would be able to help me with this work.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Winmalee update for 03 Jun

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
Area:
Winmalee
Status:
Red/Closed

Please stay out of all of Winmalee, the amount of rain last night was bewildering, it is allready in a terrible state in Blue Gum Swamp, it has been caused by over riding in wet conditions, we are trying to fix the problem areas, but we need people to stay off when wet!
