NPWS "2 wheeled treks" event at Glenrock
In todays Newcastle Herald there is a little article about this happening tomorrow at 10am at the Gun Club entrance-"an experienced guide will take families through hidden sections of the Glenrock State Conservation Area during the free 2 hour ride".Who reckons they will bomb down BJ's then back up It Happens & fang across Shaft & all of the hard stuff? me thinks not!
Kennys Mudhole
I have the following timber structure that I built as a boat slipway recently but ws not allowed to use at it needs a DA on the Lake shore. It is solidly built and i will fix timber slats across it to form the running surface. I will do this at my own cost and some riding friends have agreed to help install it over the Kennys Mudhole.
the idea is to bridge the area, and reduce errosion.
Please can someone let me know who I should contact to get acceptance to undertake this upgrade.

Someone has been working on Killingworth trails
I live at Killingworth and used to ride the trails here years ago. I have not ridden my MTB out here for several years until this morning. Someone has been replacing the sagging/dangerous wire mesh bridges with new wooden ones, and some bog holes have been filled with rocks/logs to make them ridable again. Whoever is doing the work I thank you, because the trails are ridable and fun again. The trails are still dry weather only though, and the usual 4WD and trail bike damage still remains. Keep up the good work.
