Medium frame in good condition
Wheels have only been ridden for 1 month as I swapped them for custom wheels and only put them back on for sale.
Standard 2012 spec with a few mods inc, Thomson Masterpiece seat post and carbon railed SLR saddle.
A few titanium bolts here and there.
Medium wear in the tires and drivetrain.
The Lefty has just been serviced by the most highly qualified Lefty mechanic in the country, a recent service on the bottom bracket, bottom suspension pivot and a new bottom bearing on the headset.
Oaks Up and Back
Glenbrook station carpark.
Looking to do an old farts training ride up the Oaks and then back down.
Company is welcome.
Approx 60km round trip.
A chance to channel your inner Jensie. Shut up, legs.
I'm just getting back on the training horse after some downtime so looking for some steady climbing with a ripper downhill reward and maybe some single track at the end if conditions aren't too damp.
Winmalee social 50km (with shorter bail-out options)
End of White Cross Rd, Winmalee, NSW. There's a small parking area here but it's a standard suburban street so overflow isn't a problem.
G’Day all,
It’s been a long time since we’ve had a social ride around Winmalee and while it’s mainly fireroad, it’s still fun.
The plan is to meet at the end of Whitecross rd at 8:00am and start the loop there.
There are 2 early bail-out points but the plan is for a pretty solid 50km. The planned loop will be as follows;
• Head along Shaw’s ridge, down the Shaw’s descent and up Bee’s nest hill to the lookout.
• Back along Springwood ridge, through Todd’s sniggle then down into the Grotto (possible bail-out point).
Wanted: WTB 26" wheelset
Looking for a pair of 6 bolt 26" wheels to stick on my hardtail that's been promoted from gathering dust in my garage to wet weather commuting duties. Not sure how much I want to spend so stuck a $100 stake in the ground. Let's go from there
Cheers
Phil
Withdrawn: First generation Specialized Epic
Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.
Up for sale is a bike composed of various parts including a Specialized Epic frame (I think it is a size S but I need to confirm this with Specialized via the serial number) with the first generation Brain rear shock, a 2006 Rock Shox Reba SL fork and parts from a 2005 Kona Cinder Cone. The bike was assembled in 2006 and was mostly ridden from 2006 to 2008. It was in storage from 2010 until last month.
Manly Dam Sunday morning
Next to Seaforth Bowling Club on the Manly Dam Trail.
2 laps. Aiming for 45mins per lap.
Got 4 going so far. Thinking of one social lap then staggered start for lap 2 with everyone finishing together.
More The merrier
Cheers

Old Mans Valley Stage 2 Opening
End of Quarry Road, Hornsby - Parking is well signposted, directing cars to park at the END of the road. If this is full, park in the Dural Street carpark.
Official opening of stage 2 trails. And Lee from Nomadic Cafe will be there with the pedal - powered coffee cart serving his excellent brews!
30/5 Update from SNORC:
Come along and support the opening of stage 2. As a thank you to those companies that have paid to hold demo days in the past, Council have invited them to setup from 10AM onwards to show off their machines. There will be a BBQ that the club will cook up (starting midday) and the Coffee Nomad Dude will be there as well. It will be held at the bottom of the fire trail road, down near the green loop.
