Friday; The forest is drying out nicely most of the tracks are in great condition pretty dry with very little mud even in the lower single tracks. The creeks are the lowest they’ve been in months. Should be a great weekend for riding Kiwarrak.

The trails are pretty good besides a few muddy corners, some soft spots, creeks cutting a few trails and trees fallen over some trails. Its mostly dry and no longer has water running down trails or at least the trails I rode. You will probably get muddy, I did. Should be good for the weekend.

Trails that I know are cut by trees:

  • Pushy Galore
  • Icarus
  • Trampoline
  • Up River (can be rode around)
  • Hell's Garden

Kiwarrak State Forest update for 15 Feb

Some trails are near bone dry, others still have water flowing down them or large pools of water in low spots. Most creeks are still flowing with a large amount of water. A Large amount of trees have fallen over trails.

Trampoline is completely unrideable with dozens of fallen trees blocking it. The entrance to Hell's Garden from Up River is blocked by a fallen tree. Up River is ridable, a tree has fallen over one section, but you can get around it via an alternate line in the trail. Icarus is blocked by a Fallen tree. Gotta, Whoaboy, Go 21 & 22 have are mostly clear. The bridge near the Sweet As end of Scooters has been broken in two and washed down stream.

**Picture of fallen trees is at the corner of Tinonee Road & Peach Tree Trail.**
**The creek is at the bottom of MOAB where it intersects scooters**
