Kiwarrak State Forest update for 18 Sep

The forest is just about bone dry at the moment. This hot weather has dried everything but the most stubborn patches of mud. The red track is good all the way round with the exception of foreva which still has some deep mud spots but certainly ridable. Weather forcast is good for the week with possible showers next weekend.

Kiwarrak State Forest update for 13 Sep

The muddy patches from last week have dried out. The track is almost dusty! The XC loop is nicely bedded in - the old school routes and tracks need "Daves blower" for a bit of TLC. Otherwise - fantastic - as usual.

Kiwarrak State Forest update for 01 Sep

Similar conditions to Kazams last post last week thanks to recent sudden downpours. Both the red and green tracks have a few places where its quite muddy but but still rideable. Muddy and slippery mainly in the lower areas where the tracks cross creeks. Mind you - some of those creeks are flowing right over some of the trails. Mighty dirty bike and bits! But always worth it.

The red track has a few places where its quite muddy but but still rideable. Muddy mainly in the lower areas where the tracks cross creeks. Divine bridge is down again but the other bridges survived the recent rains. Still good fun. Take care.

With all this rain in the last 2 days its a tad muddy in places so watch out for that sharp corner! If the rain backs off it might be good for the weekend but it doesn't look good for the next few days.

The red(15k) race track today was awesome very dry and fast on high ground with some lower tracks(eureka) having slight mud in lower sections. Recent rain has had minimal effect to the forest. I'm looking forward for tomorrows ride Smiling

old bar to wallabi tracks??

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I was wondering who is making the tracks between wallabi and old bar, because a few days ago i came across a few log rides and tracks, but the main track that goes from forrest lane to wallabi is cut of bye a fence right at the end. Sad (single track)

if there is a few riders that ride in there please tell me because i might start making tracks in there for you all.

??

Most of the single tracks have been cleaned, repaired and drained. Had an awesome ride today on the red(15k) race track great job on the tracks guys! Some of the lower tracks still have some slush in them but should be a great for the weekend. Lets hope the rain stays away.
