Mowbray Park Farm track official opening
Just out of Picton. Enter off Barkers Lodge Rd. The track entrance is opposite the main carpark.
This is the official opening of the Wollondilly Trailblazers MTB Club track at Mowbray Park Farm that we have been working on since April 2013. The first 50 riders will receive a showbag with a few bits and pieces in it.
The track is definitely an XC track. It's fast and flowy and has been tested using 26" and 29" bikes, male and female riders, 13-60 year olds and one crazy guy on a fatbike.
The venue is also a working farm so there should be plenty to do for the rest of the family.
Morning ride
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
My first ride at Ourimbah. It would be great to ride with someone who has ridden it before.
St Ives sniggle
There's a large shoulder on Mona Vale Road (eastbound). A site setup for RBT near the single track start makes a good spot. At the Nursery park right where the single track starts
Heading out for a couple of hours tomorrow morning to test out the new stead. Probably a loop starting at the wildflower garden and ending up across the road coming up from Garigal. Not too fast as I'll be stopping now and then to dial in the shock/fork (well that's my excuse for bad riding anyway)

Xmas Terrey Hills ride
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
The festive season is a great time of year to spend some quality time with close friends and loved ones - but don't neglect the real 'significant other' in your life - your MTB.
This ride will take in perimeter, long then cullamine tracks to get the heart rate up a bit, then a bit of bitumen and back to to the shops via some single track near the japanese school.
A dessert of some of the best legal single track in the locale courtesy of the st ives sniggle including the golf ball infested 'muppet show' will be served to those who feel up to it on the day.
Timmy & Chuck's Christmas ride & BBQ
Glenbrook Park. In the small car park opposite the shops.
A loop around Knapsack Reserve and then back to Glenbrook Park for a byo BBQ.
All welcome!!
