Cascades - Social
End of Wyatt Ave, Belrose - this is on the East side of Garigal National Park.
Slowly getting back into MTB.
Pace will be social with the odd push on some of the climbs.
All about having some fun, with a bit of fitness thrown in...
Manly Dam
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
Heading out for a lap of the dam tonight - as long as the rain stays away.
Radar looks good so far...
Social pace, first night ride.
And will no doubt be checking the map a lot to see where to go....

Slowly getting back into MTB.
Social pace, more about just exploring the area and hanging out with other riders.

2014 BMORC Bash
Glenbrook station carpark.
They said we'd never make it but, here it is! The 4th running of the BMORC bash is on. It's a world cup round so get ready to ride.
I know with the new BMCC clean-up arrangements it'll be a challenge to find a steed worthy of your shiny butt so get looking.
Remember - guidelines are:
1) Bike not to be worth more than $200 new or needs to be over ten years old.
2) No disc brakes.
3) You have to carry it out with you even if it is stuffed.
4) All stacks are your own fault for riding such a heap of S*&t
5) No clip-less pedals (unless the bike came with them originally)
Cascades - Saturday 01 Feb
End of Wyatt Ave, Belrose - this is on the East side of Garigal National Park.
Only my 2nd time to Cascades, and newly returned to MTB after 25 years absence.
Still learning my bike, and the techniques again.
Social pace, more about just exploring the area and hanging out with other riders.
The side bonus is a bit of a work-out to help increase the fitness.
The Oaks - up and back
Glenbrook NPWS entry gate.
Riding up and back on the Oaks. Pace will be social due me being on and off the bike for while. Hopefully my legs will make it okay.
Red Hill Sampler
Red Hill Reserve car park, off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill. Another option is to ride over here from Oxford Falls.
As promised..
Plan is to ride most of Red Hill, linking it all up to avoid too much "hike a bike", so you will need 2L of fluids for this one.
This is NOT a fire trail cruise so please don't turn up if you don't got adequate health insurance for coverings of helicopter evacuations and sexy time with nurses while in hospital with broken bodies... OK.. seriously.. Red Hill can break bones and bikes and you will probably bleed at some time on this ride.
if it rains between now and Sunday morning I will cancel the ride as my bike refuses to let me ride it there if its damp.
