Great Fun
Dissappointed with the time but a lengthy feed break and continuous cramps for me and my riding buddy ended any challenge on the three hour mark. Great atmosphere, good crowd and friendly riders made it a great day.
Despite the pain the walk up the hill made for a good time to meet other riders and even saw a NoB MoB shirt in there as well. Talked to a few people who rode up 'The Wall', most regretted using that much energy, but an amazing effort to get up that slope.

3 Ring Circus 2010
Wasn't expecting to crack the 3hr mark, so was pleasantly surprised.
Had an enjoyable ride.

3 Ring Circus
It was good today. Left home at 5am and arrived at 7:30am and got parking quite close. It didn't look good when passing the guy who crashed on the water bar and another rider was checking his pulse. I had a could of stops to remove the layers and have a feed. I was thinking about 3 hours and came in 03:01:36. It must have been the cold weather but I couldn't stop going to the toilet. Either that or old age as the water was going straight though me.

shack attack
we were heading down on sat morning, while loading the car my bike was sitting in the back yard sporting a new set of Ritchey tyres ,when i went to get my bike I noticed a sm all pile of black stuff sitting just behind the rear wheel I picked some of it up to look at and realised it was chunks of rubber ,hmmm very strange! a close inspection of my tyre revealed three knobs of tread missing ,well it turns out my daughters pet rabbit (who roams the yard)has taken a liking to mtb tyres!no harm done my tyres performed brilliantly.

Relaxing on a Sunday
It was rather nice to be able to get up and relax this morning. Breakie (naturally of bacon, beans & eggs) while watching Le Tour from last night.
Then a nice sneaky ride at the Dam just after midday that didn't even require leg warmers showed signs of spring on the horizon.
What a perfect day weekend

Duck Holes Ride
This afternoon I went on what was supposed to be two laps of Duck Holes and Centre Tracks loop, but a couple of hundred metres in I picked up a huge stick in the rear derailleur.
I managed to skid to a dusty halt before it ripped the rear end off, but the hanger was obviously bent. I duly extracted the stick and whipped out the multi-tool to straighten the hanger. A quick whip up and down the gears while the bike was still on its back. Yep. All good.
