in the lap of the Kiwarrak gods
So firstly, let me say to the guys that went to Kirrawak, if i get any of the details wrong or forget anything please feel free to add.

Del Rio
Only got the leave pass approved on Wednesday evening so not much in the way of preparation or expectations. Started midfield which was about right for me.
It ended up being a beautiful day with temperatures up to 29 near the top of the main climb. Lots of bitumen and dirt road however the single track was fairly technical. After the first hour the single track settled down and provided some good riding. There is about 140m of climbing on each lap and most of it is in the dirt road with a steep section of 100m or so just near the end of the climb.

Camden River and Mt Annan maps - help
We rode Camden River and Mt Anna today (sensational), I took my Garmin 705 and have mapped them and uploaded to Garmin connect.
Buggered if I know how to get them from there to here - any ideas?
Two great rides so I am reckon a few people may be interested.

Angry Doctor Not
We were about to head to the start when fellow riders staying in the same place let us know it was delayed and a decision was to be made at 9am. I knew now I wasn't going to be doing 100km because even if they started it later I doubt there was enough time for me to finish in daylight. Anyway, while waiting for 9am to come around we headed down to check out the surf. To our surprise there were four whales there really close to land. Never seen them this close so it was pretty amazing.

You should have been there
I needed to get up early Saturday morning to travel with the TORC crew to get Wollombi by 7:30am, after hearing the rain all night I was thinking of any excuse to get out of going I hate wet weather in the end I thought @@$! it and just went.By the time we arrived at Wollombi the wet weather had good as gone and my spirits had lifted.

Wollombi Wild Ride 60 Km
Tough fast race with lots of climbs, fire trail and cow poo. No real time to recover. Great event and spirited prize giving

Thanks Brad!
Had an excellent 'Trailbreakers' skills session with Brad Mertens today. Spent the morning focusing on track stands, ratcheting, slow turns and bunny hops. We also spent time looking at bike set-up - I received some great tips on tire pressure, suspension set-up and tire choice.
After lunch, the focus shifted to cornering, technical drops and climbs.
