you'll love the new additions, plus camel back climb now has switch backs, which i hope to be trying out tomorrow arvo.
Awesome, sounds great
will try to make this might have to adjust my schedule and smooth it with the missus, should be OK.
Keen to see the new bits.
Normally Fat Tyre is a hot one, so why not get some 2pm heat into you as well!
Keen to try this place out.
Knee is currently giving me a little grief, though - we'll see how it goes. I'm assuming it will come good.
i can't make this and i really wanted to try this place out, never ridden here
Lucky I looked at the calender - thaought this was today. Should be up for next week.
new tracks & overtaking lanes
i might see if i can make this one
My rear shock died on the weekend so I'm going to have to dust off my back up bike.
What happened to the shock? Is this the same Terrey Hills ride that we bumped into you?
It was ok on Saturday. I was checking it on Sunday for next weekends ride and its lost all the air. I think lozza jinxed me asking what I thought of it. I said it was good but maybe not
lucky you didn't sell the trance x .You can't beat the trusty old giants.
Ah yes, the trusty Giant
Need to get one of these Brian
On Sat, the trail looks excellent.
Google Maps says Hour and 40 mins in the car, is that about right?
Sounds about right. Not happy about the weather though. Anyone local know how much rain Awaba has had?
Lot of rain last night, not a lot today until the last hour and it is bucketing down.
Did a road ride past glenrock though and it didn't look too bad, awaba is usually a lot better.
in Newcastle early this morning-big time!!
This is looking unlikely now I guess, been pouring in Sydney last night and this morning.
I agree. Below it looks like Cooranbong got hammered which isn't far from there.

So are we considering this cancelled or is there still hope. The radar show a massive rain cloud over the track.
I think it's fair to say that this ride should be cancelled, we've had so much rain last night & today up this way,& the forecast is for more rain tonight.
I was thinking that but was hoping. I'll try to get up there the 20th and will hopefully have the Cannondale back.
No worries even though Awaba dries well there is no way it would be dry enough to ride tomorrow with out damaging the trails.I'll be in for the 20th .
I would be keen for 20th as well!
I'll have to confirm but will probably drive up and back the same day so the start time would be around 11am.
Good call guys. It's been belting down all day and I think a lot of the trail will be wet for a few days after the rain stops.
over the Watagan's all day-I'm keen for a spin on the 20th too!
I live around the corner from the Awaba track... and my lawn is half slosh.
The Awaba track generally holds up great after rain! But not this much... I'll be steering clear until at least 2 or 3 days of sunshine to let it dry out properly.
I've posted a ride for the 20th. Hopefully better luck with the weather although the 28 day rain forecast isn't looking good.
