anyone for a beginners ride this saturday 24 nov anywhere anytime???

Hi guys, I have just splurged on a new Reign (giant) mountain bike and have not yet had a chance to test it out due to work commitment but at last have some time off, so was wondering if anybody is up for a ride saturday 24/11, anyway if anybody is keen let me know as would prefer to have some other people to ride with, thanks.

Nice one matanthony. Quiet a lot of us are up at Ourimbah on Sunday so resting for that, but hope you get some takers from who's left.

Failing that, am sure there will be gentle cruising the following week.

I may be interested. If the ride is not too taxing, and the blasted weather behaves. As a suggetion, maybe a run around Manly Dam in the morning? 8:00 a.m? Can't do more than that... doing 8hr Ourimbah on Sunday.

before Ourimbah. For me anyway. I still might be up for a cruisey ride before Sunday though. The Royal National Park could be a goer.

As Rob pointed out on Saturday, my seatpost is way too low. I did some measurements last night and it turns out that my seatpost was at least an inch below the ideal height [1]

I probably should test out my new, more elevated position before Ourimbah ... and riding in a car park doesn't cut it.

depending on where you want to go and for how long i wouldn't mind an easy ride Saturday... but it would have to be easy - I am also at Ourimbah on Sunday...
