Trees @ Terrey Hills
Craig there were 2 trees down on Perimeter track Sunday arvo.
One which almost covered the entire track, just enough for a bike to pass slowly, and the other smaller one that shouldn't cause too many problems.
Sorry I won't be able to join you, have a pest guy coming to top up my termite system.

being the nobmob pest id stay way clear of your house for a while mate!
That took about 4hrs longer than I expected
..if we come across any trees down Gazza will show us what to do
Will be all part of the experience. Thanks for the heads up Stu.
Termites like carbon, lets hope your bike sees the light of day before it becomes a mitey meal ;-}
are you trying to confuse fallen trees with laying logs mate? Thats a private joke by the way people!
log at either Manly Dam or the Coffs Marathon, in fact I have never laid a log on trail yet and will you stop discussing OUR private life in public. People will start to get the wrong idea.
would never get the wrong idea about you Stuey!
(sorry i couldn't resist)
I'm not sure all this talk of logs is going to encourage the newbies!

Prob is mate that Lorrie knows I'm not joking, just repeating moments of fact (JJ Lorrie).... and lets keep that other thread for the seriously fun business of a newbie ride that I may and try and get to yet.
Amusing to my mind to discover there had been vehicles on track and then Stu discovers trees down....not a conincidence in my mind.
We saw on the sunday ride about 3 4x4 one with P plates on ...the maths are pretty straight forward.
Watch out for cars on the track...trees we can ride over...
they may become a fun obstacle-or a decent jump, i dont know what size trees weare talking.
A hundred meters or so past the causeway and its a big one, no chance of any of us jumping that one.
Shane, logical conclusion but judging where the tree has fallen from and the fact there are clear tyre tracks going around it I don't think we can point the finger at them this time. That said it is also very coincidental that within a week or two of the end section of Long trail having been widened there are now vehicles down there. It was getting to the point where it was more like wide single track but is back to fire trail width.
