Have you checked out ebay or considered getting one from o/s? I see a bunch on there all the time, but will probably get a hiking/camping style one myself like the Garmin 60csx or colorado.
My mate has a 305 and it seems a pain in the a$$ all the time. Half the time the cadence sensor stops working and the unit turns itself off randomly. Cadence battery runs out very quickly. Pretty good for $500+. Better read some reviews! there's also a newer 705
i had a look on spadout last night mate and it brought up some cheap deals on them mate. Have a look.
