Never been out to Terrey Hills before.
Should be interesting to see what it is like.
How many kms should i be expecting?
perimiter if you do the whole thing return is 14 and long is 4 each way, as long is a junction about 1k before the end of perimiter you can expect about 20k
Here you go:

There's actualy two of us - I hope that's OK? - see you there!
Cadam...bring a friend!
Quite easy to get more than 20 people on an easy ride...??
I think 8 is a good number (its not set it stone!)
See you there!
Shano
I'll come along to this. Also happy to do some extra kms in other people are!
See you tomorrow.
I'm keen for a few extra kms
I need to get out more, so i'm in.
Sorry guys... somethings come up and I can't make it. Have a great ride. See you next time:-(
Was a good ride, sorry for the delays and been unprepared. Funnly enough my back tire went flat agian about 1/2 a k before i got to Northern Beaches School. So a good ride and a long walk. Thanks a lot for helping me out when i'm just slowing you guys down.
Great day to be back in the saddle...plenty of traffic out on the perimeter and long tracks...we saw 3 horse riders school kids on bikes, uni students studying environment and a dozen or more MTBrs
what a day...
After Matts flat just before the school we had been enjoying the muddy sections...
I ended up with a flat myself...(it seems the skab I had on the tube couldn't take the heat as it was all goeey and had come off...(guess I'll try tubeless sooner or later) and we had a good slow ride out and picked it up on the downhill sections on the way back....
3hrs round trip was bit longer than expected and way too long even for an easy ride...especially given the heat around 11am..ouch!
Glad to meet some new guys out there...come and do it again some time..
Big Thanks to the Fire Brigade for putting on the Free Sausage Sangers! Man that was good!
(NobMob BBQ anyone?)
Note for future rides, earlier the better...beat the heat of the day (and carry less water)
For three hours 3L was barely enough.
(3 hrs = I'm out of shape)
Shano...
and good to meet you new lads. It was a bit slow but what the hell! Jay it was good to do some extra kms.
Unfortunately the sausage sizzle had finished by 1:30 (!!) when we got back so no freebies for us
Matt, good to meet you and no worries about waiting. But I would get some gear for future rides such as gloves, a hydration backpack and always brings some spare tubes!!
If it had been earliers i probably would have made it all the way. You had 3L i had 750ml.
Yeah next time i'll at least have 2 bottles
hopefully i'll also have a repair kit and or a tube. Maybe a cammel pack, maybe not.
Had a great day, was pretty exhausted after the extra km's, ended up having to walk a few hills.
Bike is at the shop now, hopefully they can sort out the issues i'm having when using the middle chain ring.
