Golden Jubilee Flow Hot Lap
Its a loop but best place to start is probably on the firetrail in front of the pump track. Finish is where you started.
Must follow the flow track around the pump track. Must ride the single track up the hill, Not allowed to use the firetrail for a short cut.
No Short cutting!!! That includes the last two corners at the top.
Ando's & Oaks
Meet at Glenbrook Train Station at 06:45 to catch the train up to Wentworth Falls.
Although the keen can combine this with The Oaks in which case you'll want to meet down at Glenbrook.
This is a easy paced ride there is already 6 riders coming almost all of the G4'ce team, I am posting this for anyone who has wanted to do this ride and is really average to above average ability, If you want to set a new hot lap this is not a ride for you. If you have wanted to take on a bigger ride then come along, you will be well supported, and will have your ability pushed.
Ourimbah School Holiday Special
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
If you're on Holidays this week, head out to Ourimbah for a few fun laps of the XC Course. The track is in great condition at the moment - even after the rain. Will be a very social pace. The Drop is off-limits sorry.
Terrey Hills morning pedal
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Come out for an easy sunny saturday morning turn out the Perimeter and Long Tracks...
Now that winter is truly gone!
Brisbane Water NP - Staples Lookout
Staples Lookout, Woy Woy Road. At the top of Kariong Hill, turn off the Central Coast Highway (formerly Pacific Highway) onto Woy Woy Road. Continue for about 5km until you come to Staples Lookout carpark on the LEFT. It is well sign posted with an information sign before the carpark: SCENIC LOOKOUT 300m. Park here.
Great ride for Newbies (I'll be bringing a few novice riders from my soccer team) or anyone just wanting to get the legs moving. These are mostly fire-trails and access trails, with very little technical riding but challenging hills without being impossible. Much of the track has been graded recently so it is quite fast in sections. Very similar terrain to The Oaks. If you find it too easy, just ride faster!
