3 full laps of Cascades with all gates.
This is my cross-country training ride ( have not done Cascades for nearly 6 months now). I am in for some serious lung busting punishments.

tienster | Good ride today. | Sand, puddles and bike wash. Good pace, plenty of hills. |
Rob | 12 gates of hell | Ah, Tien... what a sadistic b@st@rd he is for suggesting this! A surprising number of suckers willing riders showed up 7am this morning though and off we went. Soon though, the hills ticked by, as did the laps and one by one they fell away until... |

Tien, 1.26am seems a bit extreme..
if this is an afternoon ride I can't, but if it a morning ride say start at 7 or 8am i'll be in.
Sean, thanks for pointing at out.
Tien.
thought he was getting ready for night laps at the Mont....
Tien, that is just one of the most horrible rides!
of the Oaks.
you know you need training for your 100km Dirtworks.
Tien.
I'm in
Bring the pain... It will be fun
you know what they say about assumption..
I may do one lap.... I figure I could do one while you two do three and then we could all eat together!
Christine, who says you are blonde?
Tien.
but Sean may not be so happy now.. it's his birthday on Saturday - will you take him a cake Tien?!!!
Saturday is the day before...
It will be a good hitout as I will not be able to squeeze in a Ride on 'my day'
So why wouldnt I be happy?
am confused, i thought your birthday was the saturday... obviously i have gone back to being blonde...bugger!
maybe it would be best if just went back to doing some work...
Tien, I will not be at your ride, the Oaks up and back seems so much kinder to me! plus I have Cascades tomorrow night - I see some roidy boys have said they are coming so it will be a challenge for me...
but i was wondering, if for some reason i am overcome with enthusiasm and decided to ride Cascades by myself one day - would it be better for me to come back up and out of heath track or is the track up to davidson worse? and don't even think about freakin Quarry as that is so off my radar - other than to ride down...
the exit to davidson is steeper than Heath track in sections. Steep enough to be paved with concrete and bitumen in sections
Should have told Christine it is easy as a walk in the park!
Tien.
there is truly a wicked side to you!
i know the Davidson one is yukky, i used to walk the dogs down there when i lived in Davidson, but I was wondering which hill is better for that dreaded ' t' word which I am now avoiding...
Heath is better for training, I usually (read always until last Wednesday) ride out at Stone Pde. It is three short blasts, which while steep don't hurt the lungs just the legs.
I'm actually contemplating riding in at stone, and out at heath for fun this weekend? Won't be doing any of those silly 12 gates rides though.
Will this be a social ride?

Was the social ride Q addressed to me? I'll do it as a small (20 Km) training loop from Killarney Heights if I have time this afternoon, or as part of a longer loop Sunday morning.
