Hard Hill Training
End of Wyatt Ave, Belrose - this is on the East side of Garigal National Park.
I'm doing my std hill training session but twice to cover about 50k. By doing all tracks up and down one lap becomes about 25ks. On a few occasions I've set out to do two laps but I always find an excuse to cut it short. Perhaps with some company and suitable peer pressure the full 50ks of pain can be endured.
Note, this is a reasonably hard ride and the 50ks should be covered in about 3 hours.
I set the limit to 4 but that can be extended in the unlikely event that there are enough characters out there who are intrested.
I hope there are a few takers out there who, just like me, needs a bit of help in doing the full two laps.
Cheers,
Staffan

I posted one for Saturday.
Tien.
you posted yours for April 19... what is going on with you today that even i can pick this up?!!!!!
We must have posted at the same time.
I cannot do Saturday otherwise joining up would be a great idea. But 3 laps, that is 75ks - unless your laps are shorter?
Cheers,
Staffan
Sorry gents I'm out - my sons rugby trials on Sudnay morning.
Guys did Garigal and Cascades this morning - still very wet so take some Lube and old rag along.
3:08 for the 50ks of pain.
Interesting... what do you call a lap? 4 gates as we did yesterday is around 15Km, which was:
St Ives (Douglas/Acron), straight down Cascades, past both Cambournes and down the sealed section then up to Davidson, back down and right at Bare Creek, up Heath, turn round and back down Heath, up and down Quarry on the way back, back to the bottom of the sealed section, then right and climb out up Cascades. To be honest I prefer to add Lower Cambourne but Tien said that was cheating, and true, think it is a little easier climb.
every uphill path there is to take form the valley until the path ends at a road somwhere (and I have no idea where I am when I reach a road) then down to the valley again and do the next ..... By adding the X-country loop a lap is 25ks. The full 50ks is a pretty draining ride an we were all buggered at the end.
My racing mate Justin joined from bundeena (that is what I call commitment) and he brought another reasonably fit fella with him.
That was enough peer pressure to do the two laps.
3.08 riding time but the usual flat tyre and the waiting around extended the total time.
