You wait months... then two new babies turn up at once ;-} I have a magic new 2008 Heckler replacement frame, but I won't be riding it much soon due to the real baby that turned up last Sunday. Some of you might have heard I was working on a little project, well here it is in all it's glory. I know, I know, not another 575! Sorry, couldn't resist. However, the twist that not many will have at the mo is that front fork - Talas 32 RLC QR15. That dictated Hope Pro II hubs which are built with Mavic 819XM rims as you can see. Clearly this is more of a play bike than a weight weenie XC weapon. Although that said, it fair ripped up the Dam this arvo! |

Whilst riding Manly Dam last evening we started hearing drums as we reached to top of the steps, and from there on it kept getting louder, but we found the source of the percussion, a dude was set up on the Dam trail near the Wakehurst Parkway crossing to Bantry Bay happily practicing well away from his pissed off neighbors. Not something usually see whilst mountain biking! |
