If you have a pretty much definate plan for a ride then this is not the place for you. You should be creating a ride meeting entry instead, which will appear in the calendar, etc.
This forum is for talking over tentative plans, asking opinions on rides, etc.
Dry spot for a first ride?
Hoping to take my wife out for her first off-road ride this weekend. Any recommendations for anywhere non-technical that should be dry by Sunday (presuming we don't get hosed between now and then)? Can be up to an hour or so from Sydney. I'm thinking maybe wisemans ferry or the Oaks? Other ideas?
Rainy Weekend?
What are the chances of getting out this weekend? 
After reading Loz's account of the trails last night even if it stops now I can't see things drying out any time soon. Waaaaaaaaaaa!
Perhaps it's just a weekend for staying up all night, enjoying the sport on TV and sleeping in? 
The dirty way to get to Melbourne
I'm thinking of riding to Melbourne via the most scenic and dirty way possible avoiding the black stuff wherever I can. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know how possible this is? Can anyone point me in the direction of some good online resources about preparing for big epic trips? All help greatly appreciated.

So any of our Canberra brothers keen for a ride Thursday/Friday or Sat THIS week?
I'm down for work and planning on bringing my bike for some fun when the work day is done....or prior...what ever works!

Sunday social ride with single track (Menai/Appin/Yellowmundee?)

Planning to do ride on Sunday, kick off time 9am for 3/4 hours. Anyone interested in joining in?
I'm open to suggestions as to where? Only limitation is I have to exclude Ourimbah as I have to be in Campbelltown in the afternoon.

Thinking of a ride at Ourimbah tomorrow and keen to hear from anyone that might know if the track is good to go or if it also needs a few more days to dry out.
AMBC / NOBMOB Skills Day on a Sunday
I have PM'ed AMBC and they will hold a AMBC/NOBMOB training day on a Sunday if there is interest.
I am tentatively planning this training day for Sunday 21st June (dependent on AMBC say this day suits them). If they are unavailable it will be some other Sunday in June or July when the Ourimbah track is free.
If you interested in a Sunday training session identical to the one that is now Saturday 20th June please add a comment and say so.

There's the Australian Science Festival in Canberra from 26-31 May and whilst this might seem nerdy on the face of it, there are some interesting/fun events and most are free - visit http://sciencefestival.com.au/asf/?cat=14. Boat 'n Bike - which track?
Boat 'n Bike - something different?
The idea: While we were sitting and admiring the glorious waterview from the end of Long Trail ...we came up with the idea of organising a Boat 'n bike trip over the next few weekends. This would make some use of the trailer boat rusting away in the driveway since the whole family got into cycling...
Rotorua NZ trip anyone?
Well I have been thinking that we need to do a NoBMoB trip to NZ for a while now.
Time to see If people are interested in signing up for a great week of riding some of NZ's best single track (over 100km of singletrack 15 mins ride from city centre)

I have looked into flights to Rotorua and they are around $500 return. I am waiting for a quote from AirNZ about a group booking as well.
I can possibly get a house or two for the week, estimate $150 per head for the week. Plus food and cost of transport estimate $300 including a day of shuttles.
