I am heading down to Canberra for work at the end of the week and decided to stay for a ride Saturday morning.

Planning a medium paced XC ride. Going up the switch backs and have a look at the course from the worlds, hamerhead etc. Then up the fire trail and to the observatory and back down skyline and the luge. Probably some of the blue trails from the map after that and whatever there is time for.

I am happy to go exploring if there a people with some more local knowledge.

This week is Tuesday for me (wife deserves a cinema nigh with her girl friends)

You know this ride by now. A bit technical in places, a few pinch climbs here and there and some good flowing sniggle.

Not the ride for a beginner as it can be tricky in places, good lights will be needed and body armour is advised.

Yes we're going out again.

The local NPWS rangers are wanting to take some visitors, NPWS managers out to look at the trails during the second week of May.

These guys have a lot of say in the funding and future of our volunteer group and the mountainbike trails project. So we'd like to show them some good work.

We will be working on the 'Shit Happens' site again, to tidy it up and try to have it completely finished.
