A Great Event, at a Great Location for a Great Cause...
The Arms Brunch for Cyclists will be the first social gathering of cyclists on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The event is run by cyclists, for cyclists, about cycling.

There will be a great mix of new and experienced riders as well as some experts on cycling.
MTB Orienteering - Wallaroo
Nine Mile Creek Rd, Wallaroo
something I found while googling MTB things to do, was orienteering
and I happened to glance at a saved favourite last week and noticed it's this weekend
seems they might be competitive, in a series or woteva, but I'll have a looksy and try it, bit of a ride, bit of a giggle , not serious
i've told em i'm coming, so it's not my ride, just attending.
Trailbuilding Day for the Sydney 24 in Del Rio
Del Rio Resort is on Riverside Drive, Webbs Creek, NSW.
Juliane and I have been out there twice now to build and scout for a new trail up the hill. I talked to the manager and he promised me that he will clear an old fireroad with his earthmover so we have a bit more trail there.
Now for the hill:
The good news first: J and I were able to cut in a nice new trail that leads around the hill. The 200 or so meters after that should be fairly easy to cut in
LNCP Public Planning Meeting
North Ryde RSL Community Club (Pittwater and Magdala Roads– North Ryde).
http://www.northrydersl.com.au/
This is not a ride, but everyone who is interested in riding in Lane Cove National Park should attend!
Please register your attendance (name and number of people) by COB 14th August to either:
[email protected] (preferred)
Tel: 02 8448 0400
It is a public session being run by NPWS where they will be discussing the review of the current Plan of Management. A show of support for riding in the park would very much help the cause.
Noob's Ride - Nice Bikes But Unfit!
Corner Burke & Market St, Appin. There's a small parking area here at the trail head.
Hi All,
This is my first time on this site and thought it might be a good place to post a ride meet for next weekend. We've just organised a few friends (5 of us so far) who at least have a bike and decided we'll check out Appin track since most of us are in Campbelltown.
We will have a GPS with us, but someone with knowledge will be awesome to take with us. The more the merrier as well!
Anyways... cheers to us noobs for planning it! lol...
red hill and oxford falls
Red Hill Reserve car park, off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill. Another option is to ride over here from Oxford Falls.
plan is to do red hill, some technical sections, then head down to the parkway near the meat works, ride the road up to morgan road, then the slippery dip through to gutter ball and then down to deep creek, back to cromer road via bike track around the lake ( long way via jamison park ) back up red hill to the start point.
should be about 30K and about 3 hours, so its not a flat out pace but bring your sports drinks
double 40th celebration!!!
Terrey Hills Tavern
This is the 'dinner only' option! If you want to ride DH/Centre first (twice even) then see Bernd's ride here:
SO!! Both George (Gazza) and Damien are 40 within days of each other which means Nobmob gets to celebrate WITH them!!
The plan at the moment is for dinner/drinks at the Tavern on the Wednesday night after 8pm - the problem is, neither of them can decide whether there will be a ride before hand or not...
