So after waiting a few weeks for all the bits to turn up, my new bike is finally built courtesy of Rob, it does need a few minor adjustments, like switching the brakes from US to UK stlye and just getting the bolts torq'd properly.

Newbie BB Servicing Question...should be a quicky.

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hello all. Just a quick one, I'm trying to service my BB... but after watching a few youtube videos about it, I don't think it may be sealed for life and unserviceable.

What do I mean by that? Good question. So, I've taken the BB out of the bike and it looks like one of these:

Yeti & Cannondale warranty issues

Interesting to see that BA no longer stocks Cannondale and Yeti coz of too many warranty issues!!!.
Apparently Giants never come back under warranty and are their bread and butter. They also sell Pivot.

Clipless Pedals, again

I still have trouble when I need to unclip quickly. The part I hate the most is when I'm out of the saddle climbing and then need to quickly unclip (i.e. a technical climb, I cant get over a rock or I cant make it to the top). My problem is I unclip one side, but have fallen to the other side a few times already. My unclipped foot is still in the air and because I'm not sitting and my weight is on the clipped foot, I cant unclip it. Common sense tells me to lean to the side I've unclipped, but I don't like to through my weight to one side when I haven't unclip a foot yet.

QR vs Maxle (20mm axle)

Hi all, I am upgrading my fork and looking at a RockShox Revelation. The fork has the option of QR or Maxle (20mm) axle configuration. My current fork and wheel are a QR setup and I am wondering whether the extra performance of the Maxle is worth the cost of a new wheel. Anyone out there got any thoughts on the performance of 15mm or 20mm axles vs QR?

MTB Forks - What to get and where to buy

I've ruined the forks on my Specialised Enduro through too much mud, and too little maintenace/servicing.

Any ideas where I should look to buy some new ones? New or secondhand.

I'm looking for something around 140mm to 150mm, without through axles (i.e the older dropout style).
