Canberra Rd Trip Day 3 Majura Pines-- Note this ride is now changed to Stromlow
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Majura Pines
Day 3: Again a late start to allow for what might be a late night Saturday.
No idea about Majura Pines other than it is meant to be nice single track similar to Sparrow hill.
Will leave Sunday arvo open for the moment. If Majura Pines isn't big enough we can head back to Sparrow Hill or maybe somewhere else after lunch.
Definitly looking for a local or someone with trail knowledge to tag along and lead this one. If you can please post back or PM me to let me know.

Canberra Rd Trip Day 2 Sparrow hill
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Sparrow Hill
Day 2: a later than usual start to allow those coming down from Sydney the chance to get there in time.
This place is by far the best place I have ever ridden and think a day there should be no probs at all.
As a suggestion we start with a group ride of the full loop, back to the cars for a BBQ lunch or maybe a run back into Queenbeyan for lunch, then back onto the trails for an arvo of fun. Maybe roid boys can do a quick lap and the rest of us can go back to the particularly sweet parts, lets play all that by ear.

Canberra Rd Trip Mt Stromlow
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
First time there so lets meet at the designated spot on the ride gallery and take it from there
The first ride in what shall be a very long weekend in the saddle. First time at Stromlow and unfortunately I believe only the XC track will be open but lets go and explore.
Don't forget Friday is not a public holiday so you will probably need to take the day off if you want to join us.
If we have any Canberra / local "lurkers" that would like to play tour guide barbie then please let us know.
All welcome.

Red Hill Car Park off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill
Hi there,
alright.... it will be a morning ride after all now!! 9.00am, no more changes, be there or be square (or something like that ...
It will still be a nice technical ride let's just see what we feel like...(3m drops Gazza ! excellent)
Fingers crossed for some sunshine, it's Mothers Day for heaven sake!?! It can't possibly rain!
Let's go!

social ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Japanese School, Booralie Rd.
Ok, so I have this stupid cold which means I am not going on the Day Trip...instead I am going to go to do a wussy Terrey Hills ride on Sunday morning – I am going to start at the Japanese school and do the Perimeter and the Long Trail (this is a hill-less ride!!) ...but...instead of going to the end of the Long Trail I am going to go along that track that runs off it – apparently there are some great rock carvings there.
So, if anyone fancies a cruisy Sunday morning ride come along! I won’t be on the computer again after five today but will be on the phone – it’s on my profile

Terrey Hills Night Ride!!!!
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
I guess the track will depend on the weather - had to post this one early as I have to be somewhere Tuesday night and worried someone might post a Tuesday night ride!!!
MEEE
if 'the masses' want to do Cascades due to the looming Dirtworks then that is fine too - but will you be riding that close to Dirtworks anyway...?

West Head Rain Escape
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Meet corner of West Head Road & McCarrs Creek Road (cross the creek, small parking area).
Given the deluge and the other cancelled ride this morning a quick backup plan has emerged.
So long as the rain is not torrential we will go, 3pm meet and ride 'til approx. 5:30. These trails drain quiet well so things should be OK, even given the rain of late.
We may ride up the road to Salvation (it's 4.6Km from the meeting corner to there) and also toss in Towlers Bay. If we were really fast one could also do another out and back on the return.
TXT my number (on profile) if you are coming so we know to wait as this is a late arrangement.

Manly Dam, Sunday, 3pm
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Hydro Lab
After the epic ride yesterday just a couple of easy laps around the Dam. Anybody still up for riding today ?

Manly Dam Early!
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
For those early risers Stuart, Bernd, Dave and I are going round Manly Dam...this is a medium paced ride...I think!!!
It is also Stuarts birthday so any one who comes needs to be prepared to sing!!! However, he says he isn't showing if it's raining.

Anderson-Oaks-St Helenas
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Glenbrook carpark-opposite train station
Due to some requests this ride is now happening on Anzac day.
The plan is catch the train to Wentworth Falls, ride the Anderson fire trail back to Woodford, then travel about 4km down the Oaks fire trail & turn off onto the St Helenas track following it all the way back to Glenbrook. Should work out around 60km I hope.
This is mostly fast fire trail with the usual ups & downs you expect in the mountains, until the start of the St Helenas track, I havent riden the St Helenas track so this part will be a bit of an exploration.
