Some Bike Rides Near Sydney
David Noble's list of rides around Sydney.
Very old, but still worth a look.

riding wingello
It would appear that wingello has had only light rain over the past week and therefore may be the closest chance for some off road fun this weekend ,so I reckon I might head down on sunday morning for a few hours .anyone interested in this also? if so I will post it up.

Mt York conditions
Anybody know how Mt York / Lockyers has faired with the recent moisture.
At this rate I'm going to organise my own indoor race around Westfields!!

Meeting report: Warringah Council 14/6/2011 re: trail works
A number of nobmob and MWMTB members met Council representatives yesterday morning for a couple of hours at Manly Dam rangers’ office to discuss the mountain bike trail works program currently in progress.
The conversation was quite wide ranging. What follows is the high points:
The contractor has completed most of the IMBA master class and is familiar with both mountain biking trail requirements and Sydney sandstone.

New Bike, perfectly suited for the conditions.
With the current run of appalling weather, sodden tracks and cabin fever getting too much I have been wondering what I can do to get out there and escape from it.
This looked like a great way of being able to ride regardless of how damp the trails may get:
It is convertible from a "Dry" MTB to a "Wet" MTB with minimal effort, not quite sure what the NPWS rangers would make of it on the Perimiter Trail?
