Seeking secure cycle parking in Sydney CBD

Hi Folks,
Sadly I moved offices over the xmas break and can no longer park bike in my office building.

I therefore need to find somewhere to park my bike in Sydney CBD, near to Wynyard\Bond Street if possible. I heard there are car parks that take bikes for approx $1 per day. Would be happy to pay for extra security.

Any one know more info?
Cheers for any info gratefully recieived

Car numberplates for bike racks

On the way up north on Sunday a few people got pulled over by the cops as they usually do as they went past me as I was not in a hurry for a change the few I saw that got pulled up ,I put two & two together & worked out that they were getting pulled up for having the bikes on the racks without the rta supplied plate , Looks like the new laws are in full swing already .

Mogo

Anybody been down to Mogo over Christmas and can report on the condition of the Maulbrooks Loop? From what I've read, it was still a bit cluttered with horizontal trees in a few places well after the storms that blew out the Angry Doctor.

Also has anyone done the Corn Trail in the last few years? I haven't been on it since 2005 and I don't think anyone had done any work on it then since its reopening in 1988, so unless its had a touch up since, I suspect it is a now lost cause for mtb's.

Yellomundee Regional Park update for 09 Jan

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Yellomundee is looking good after some track work on Sat 8 Jan. However, like most Sydney areas, the soil is quite saturated. Therefore, for 24 hours after any new rain the tracks can be quite soft.

Please ride responsibly at Yellomundee! Don't ride after rain, don't widen tracks in wet areas. The single track just north of Shaws Farm house is quite susceptible to damp - therefore avoid this area if you can.

Our twilight 4 Hour on 15 January is looking good! See you there.

Robo Cog cafe

Not that I ever hang around in this neighborhood, but if you do, this Robo Cog cafe in Surrey Hills looks like it might be worth a visit? A friend send me the link below, they must think I'm into bikes or something? Eye-wink

Rosebank Gazza

Pretty much all of the trails over here in Whakarewarewa Forest are super smooth.

Here's one small section of 'Rosebank' that had a narrow gully with a few roots though - this is almost as technical as it gets. Note I don't say, "hard". There are harder sections but that comes from jumps and such rather than having to negotiate roots, rocks, etc.

Gazza made it look easy but it's actually quite tricky, especially when you know that just off camera to the left is a very sharp right hander with a 2-3 foot drop straight ahead.

Awaba State Forest update for 08 Jan

Green/Open

a touch drier than Monday-just look out for Goanna on the fast right hander down past the mail box-would be a shame to accidentally tag it!
