Trainer

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I am wondering if anyone has an old or unused trainer they would be willing to sell to me or lend for a couple of months? I am recovering from a back injury and the Doc has finally agreed to let me back on a bike (first time since Oct) for 20 minutes at a time so long as I am on flat ground. I hate gyms and try finding flat ground when you live in the Hill's District!!

I would buy a new one but with the medical expenses starting to stack up I reckon the wife might finally crack if I came home with another piece of cycling equipment Shocked

Ourimbah this weekend

With the CCOMTB Round 1 coming up the weekend after next would anyone be keen to get out and have a few (4 or 5) practice laps?

Weather looks ok to me, so I am going to be heading out, ideally around 11am on Sat Morning as I am busy both early Sat Morning (Road ride) and Sunday as well.

Anyone keen?

Hi!

Alas.. my almost new baby-blue GF Paragon (size small) has been stolen from workplace's basement in North Sydney.. Had just installed new XTR bits on it, gravity dropper - yes, it's quite painful..

1 I am talking about it here in the remote hope my Paragon could be found and maybe other bikes could be made harder to steal,

CCOMTB xc rd1

When:
Sunday, 23 January, 2011 - 08:00

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Ourimbah State Forest
Meeting Point:

Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.

Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

Not sure if I've set this up right and don't Know how to add links, also no. of riders may be a bit on the high side Smiling

I've decided to take Gazzas advice from last year and use these club rds. as training for a few of the 100kers I plan on doing this year.

8.00am for sign on 9.30 race time.
