Anyone doing any laps there tonight, I am finishing work at 5 and should be able to get home fairly quickly and get on the bike for 2 laps or so.

I however have never ridden up there and would be keen to meet someone that knows the loop if possible?

Anyone riding up there tonight that can meet me? Appreciate it short notice though.

Best club to start racing?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hi All

I'm keen to get into club racing this year so I wanted to get some input on what would be the best club/series/location to go with. My rather meagre research has come up with:

HMBA at Awaba http://hmba.asn.au/
CCOMTB at Ourimbah http://www.ccomtb.com.au/
WSMTB at Yellomundee http://www.wsmtb.com/v2/

I'm not keen on travelling much further than this on a regular basis, are there others I'm not aware of?

Bike Bingle - report accidents and near misses

Just stumbled across this and think it's a great idea:

http://bikebingle.appspot.com/

Basically, it's a place to unofficially log accidents and near miss events that happen when you're riding. I guess it's mostly for road riders who are buzzed, cut up, come across dangerous road surface, etc, but it could also be useful for logging incidents off road.

I guess the idea is that if people report incidents there is something that can be shown to authorities when trying to claim certain places need better planning?

Anyhow, seemed like a good idea and looks pretty well implemented.

Waiting for Kim midway down a fun descent

This section had everyone grinning ear to ear. Some parts were quite technical rock garden and it eventually gave way to a more defined track
