Red Hill update for 08 Dec
A few puddles, but it is red hill, so I'm giving it a green. Rode main trail and the single tracks, not sure how the ridge is.

6 Foot Track trip
Depart Blackheath 8:00am on Megalong Valley road. Descend through rainforest to valley floor to farmland and forest. Great views of cliffs to the east. Turn right onto 6’ track after crossing Megalong creek. Fire road for a few k’s then turn onto single track across farmland, a few cows to negotiate and fences to climb over. Undulating single track through to forest, watch out for many cow pads make sure you ride up front. Single track through forest above river valley, spider webs, make sure you ride at back. A few technical sections and steps and gates. Get to swing bridge.

Good afternoon Mountain Bikers,
I will be going out this afternoon to remove the ‘CLOSED’ signs and the track can now be considered OPEN for use. Please cross your fingers that the rain and storms predicted for tomorrow are light or non-existent so that the track can remain open for the weekend.

Cascades update for 08 Dec
A few puddles but nothing huge. A few splashes of mud/water on the bikes and shoes but not enough to worry man or machine. All the creek crossings were fine. Lots of Goanna's and a Wallabie
