Lost Phone & Multi Tool in Cascades

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Went for a ride today (Saturday 9/10) in the arvo about 3-5pm and my bloody saddle bag opened up somewhere between the start and finish. It had a Old Nokia (Pre-paid sim-card) and a fantastic Park multi tool. I'd really like to get both of them back (especially the multi tool) so if anyone finds either of them please PM me.

I rode from Phillip Rd fire trail through to Kitchner Rd and into the Cascades at the end of Kitchner and then basically did the 4 gates. Final bit was past the the Quarry Track gate and past the pump station back up to Kitchner and Phillip Rd.

Tubeless - tips, tricks.. Help!

I have a 2010 Giant Trance X2 with the stock Mavic 317 Disc rims and Kenda 26x2.1 tyres.

As in a previous post I get flats regularly - particularly at Manly Dam. I've been running highish pressure, around 40psi, and it's been better although after another flat today decided to pull the 'Stans No Tubes' kit off the shelf and give it a go.

Blood, sweat and banana bread

Great riding, nice to meet some new faces. I think we all left a bit of claret on course today - thanks Naz for playing guide-I hope you heal up quickly. Great little ride with some techy bits to keep you on your toes, but the deal sealer is the coffee and banana bread (or gigantic burger) at the end.
See you guys next time

I generally ride these trails around my house each week, and feel like doing it with others for a change. It's mainly firetrail, though there are some interesting sections where the track has eroded and has become more technically interesting. There's also a bit of singletrack. The main part to the ride will consist of what mainly is a 6km firetrail that goes from the beginning of Galston Gorge and finishes near the beginning of the famous Quarry Road Track, which is pretty good considering it's only a local track.
