Berowra Valley - Quarry road firetrail

End of Quarry Rd, Dural Side
Ive noticed some interest in this track and i ride there at least once a week.
So thought id put up a (late notice) meet there.
The track is about 7-16km depending on where we ride.
One 'lap' from Dural to Hornsby and back is about 13km and can be easily done in about 1.5 hours at a relaxing pace.
Alot of hills with water bars.
Highest point is 220m near meeting point and drops down to 40m at bridge.
Dropping into the valley will be fast and the climbs out will be a killer

Servicing tools
Its something I've always been meaning to learn about but never got around to. Servicing/rebuilding my own bike, the works!
The dollar is still doing good, so I thought I'd stock up on some of the tools that one might have for servicing their bike and bit by bit get more familiar with them.
Theres the obvious stuff like allen keys etc, but I don't have a chain cleaner which I'd imagine is quite useful, maybe even a service stand. Anything else one might find useful?
(will probably be going to wiggle)

oil coming from fork?
I've got a Rock Shox Revelation on my old 2006 Giant Reign 2. Hadn't had a ride in a while and had a 55km ride on the long weekend.
The fork felt a little stiff and when I got home I got out the shock pump and set +ve and -ve to 75psi (I'm ~65kg). When I was letting air out though there there was actually oil coming out (enough that there was oil coming out of the shock pump's air release button).
I take it this is not normal? The fork feels fine otherwise though.

Not a bad turnout... could we have got 1% of the 1000s of riders that use the trails in the region every week?
The discussion wasn't bad either, despite the way it looks like the guy in the back row (closest to camera) has fallen asleep - just think he was stretching

OMG it's almost 1:1 for the Aussie dollar against the Greenback. Shopping online in the The US has never looked so affordable. Let's get shopping guys whilst the fun still lasts!
