Convert Front derailleur cabling from bottom pull to top pull
I'm thinking of converting my front derailleur from bottom pull to top pull. Well not actually converting the derailleur as that already supports both, but converting the cable routing on my bike.
However there are no cable mounting points on the top of the seat tube to secure the cable.
Is there any way of doing this? Any aftermarket clamps available that would clamp to the seat tube?
I see a lot of dirt under my bottom bracket where the existing cable is routed and believe the top pull would keep the cable out of this dirt. Or am I wasting my time doing this?
Suggestions anyone?

The Fluid is flying this week
The Fluid II is in fine form this week dropping 1.5 mins off my PB - from Wakehurst gate did an 8:30m to the single track and 14m to the Hydro - was really hauling but started to feel breakfast coming back and lost all that time by the bowling club - managed to drop another 22 secs off my PB in the end but what could have been

Terrey Hills update for 18 Mar
Rode this last night and as reported few days ago, a 'dozer has been from the school entrance at Echunga Rd all the way along Perimeter and all the way to the end of Long Trail.
Perimeter isn't that bad, but the grading has churned up the somewhat sandy areas on Long into massive sink holes. Take care as hitting these at speed would be a bit dicey. The short, sharp climb is currently pretty much impossible as the sand/dust is so deep there the rear wheel sinks in real deep and traction is non-existent.
Normally we don't ask for it, but hopefully a good dose of rain will come along and pack all this down.

GNR
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing (turn right bottom of the hill). There is a good parking area by the kiosk here.
I'm heading out to GNR Saturday morning with a couple of mates and any fellow NobMob people that are interested.
Aiming to leave Nthn Beaches around 7:30am.
The plan:
Go up Devines Hill (short and sharp but gets us to the top of the hill and the fun stuff quickly). Ride along Great North Road for an out-back, and going back down the hill via Shepherds Gully. Then a bit of road riding (9km, easy) back to the ferry.
See for an example that worked out to 33km total.

Please respect the area
Guys & Gals,
Just want to point out a disturbing increase.
On sunday while riding an up and back on the Oaks, I had a mechanical the meant I was walking the last half of the single track, I punched through onto the Fire trail now what I noticed was an incredible amount of Gel wrappers, I picked up six (6) in about 2 ks.
What frustrates me about this is 1. the laziness and disrespect of someone dropping the wrappers, and 2. who needs to use them over this distance, we regularly ride up & back and find the only this we need is fresh cool water, the average age of our group is 48.

wanted...baby gate
noooooo, nothing like that, it's just that I have moved offices and can take my dogs to work but there are a couple of doors they can wander off to, especially if I am out of the room
Since I know loads of you have children I didn't know if anyone had a childproof gate or two that they no longer wanted...
