Well we didi it and while it had some intersting bits, can't say it our fave ride to date. The climbs where intersting, marble size stones on hard packed made traction . . . . only a dream.
The single track was fun but really overgrown.
results for the day 2 punchers, 1 busted spoke, and crash in my driveway much to the amusment of family.
Long Saturday morning ride
Anyone keen on a long ride Saturday morning in the Northern beaches area. Total ride time around 5 hours at a decent pace without too many stops.
Woodfood to Glenbrook

This is just a fun ride, good chance for people who have not done it before to join in.
Mid week ride @ Menai

By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
Plan on riding for an hour and a half (seems to turn in to two hours) on the easier trails and I won’t be venturing near the free ride areas, DH, etc. However, it can still be tricky in sections, and some of the climbs and rock gardens can catch you out if you're not careful, but that adds to the fun.
Pace and where we ride will be determined by who turns up, but one things certain, reasonable night riding skills will be needed.

Centre Track update for 29 Jul
A bit muddy entering from the road at North end, and couple puddles along the way but nothing much to worry about.
