Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.
Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Size L (19")

Great frameset as your first full susser. I got it at a killer price new, but it is a tad too small for me. (i'm 192cm, same in kilo's)
Asking $400, and it's virtually brand new. Rear shock is the xfusion.

Includes intergrated headset, front Deraillleur, and seatpost.

RNP Cycling Plan - Updated and requires volunteers

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

The below was forwarded to me by a club member and looks like good news for Royal National Park (aka. RNP, Nasho) riders.

Note that NPWS are asking for trail maintenance volunteers and offering parks passes as added incentive.

Contact the email given if you are interested. And comment here to encourage others? Smiling

Update: The first day has been arranged, details here: http://nobmob.com/node/10201

El Rancho Relaxo Training ride at Stromlo

When:
Saturday, 1 August, 2009 - 09:30

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Stromlo Forest Park
Meeting Point:

Uriarra Road, just up from the Uriarra Road/Coppins Crossing Road turnoff.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

This ride is for the resurrected team El Rancho Relaxo to meet and greet the wonderful trails of Stromlo before the Scott 24 in October but a few more are welcome also . There are six newly marked trails here so not sure of the endurance required to do all six , and in fact if we are able to complete them all, but the plan would be to make the most of the day and have a good look around here without the crowds that will arrive in October .
Another option would be to break up the day and head out to Sparrow Hill after a good feed somewhere along the way

So, they're now promoting mtbing as a tourism attraction. I guess NSW Tourism don't speak to NPWS....

Lost tools - Cascades

Lost my Air Kiss CO2 canister & adapter, Chain tool, SRAM powerlink and Tyre levers on the Cascades trail not far from the Quarry climb turn-off on Sunday morning at about 8.30am when the zip on my saddle bag decided to break. There were heaps of walkers and joggers in the area so if anyone found these let me know.

Oxford Falls

I was out riding around Oxford Falls on the weekend and noticed that the fences blocking the cross country track had been cut down. Is this vandalism or is it something the Parks have done?
