24 Hour Solo Champs and 6+6 daylight only race
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Majura Pines
Due to the demise of the NZO 24hour I'm off to Canberra to see if my manic training schedule has done me any good, unfortunately it's a solo only 24hr race but they also have a 6+6 hour race where you race 6 hours on Sat. then 6 hours on Sun. if you'd prefer to have the night off.
Now racing for 24hours is not as hard as one may think, you just doddle along at your own pace until you've had enough, plenty of people only do 10-15 laps or bang out 30 plus laps to see what you can do! It's at Easter so the opportunity begs for some fun Canberra riding.

Womerah Range Training Ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
West Wisemans Ferry. Turn left bottom of the hill. There's a small parking area I hope we can all fit in!
Just what it says on the related forum topic. Wanted to get back and look at the last section (this makes up roughly Km 72-92) of the 100Km Dirtworks course but with fresh mind and body. The plan is to meet at the West ferry (turn left, not right bottom of the hill), leave cars there then cross on the ferry riding the 5Km or so to bottom of the climb so as to be warm for that. Then ride the Womerah Range trail, turn round and ride back.

Stromlo DH
Many thanks to Alex for organising the day and the van for the shuttle.I never knew just how many bikes and grown men can be shoe horned into a van. The sun was shining and the track was dry and in good nick and I really like the course.I thoroughly enjoy downhill riding as a style and discipline and I find that I can apply skills learnt to regular trail riding.

Return to Ourimbah - XC and DH
Hi all,
Putting the feelers out for a return to Ourimbah day. Will be looking to include both the XC and DH riders out there.
For those that havent ridden at Ourimbah before, it is a challenging location that offers a great XC ride and a ripper DH.
Likley weekend would be the 15/16 March.

Greetings fellow earthlings
Hey there, new to this site, a friend of mine pointed me to it and I'm finding it a great resource. The forums are also a nice touch. I'm based in Canberra and have also only recently started riding after a 10 year break (am in late 30's). Even though I've had mountain bikes way before that I've never really taken them off road before (bit like the guy that buys a 4WD only for city use, pathetic I know).

Fire trail to Galston Gorge then tar to Dural and home via fire trail through the gorge
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Corner of Pacific Hwy and Galston Road
Its about a 30 km loop. Start on firetrails in Hornsby, then link up to Galston Rd and ride down into the gorge and up to Galston. Past shops up to Dural and Quarry Road. Then onto the firetrails that take you back down into the gorge and up the other side home.
